(Minneapolis, MN) — The third-ranked Golden Gopher women’s hockey team entertains number-one Ohio State for a key late-season WCHA series Friday and Saturday. Minnesota is 22-3-and-2 overall and 19-1-and-2 in the WCHA. The visiting Buckeyes are 24-2-and-2 overall and 19-2-and-1 in the conference. The Gophers beat Ohio State and tied with the Buckeyes in their series in late October. Minnesota forward Grace Zumwinkle says this is “such a special time right now” they feel they are trending up at the right time of the season. Friday’s game faces off at 6 P-M, with Saturday’s series finale set for 2 P-M. Both games are at Ridder Arena and tickets are still available at the Gopher sports webpage.
