(undated)  —  The 2023 I-I-H-F World Junior Championship will be played Dec. 26, 2022 – Jan. 5, 2023 in Moncton, New Brunswick, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.  The United States, Finland, Switzerland, Slovakia and Latvia will form Group B and play at the Avenir Centre in Moncton. Canada, Sweden, Czechia, Germany and Austria will compete in Group A, with preliminary-round games taking place at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.  The United States won both their pre-tournament games taking out Finland 5-2 followed by a 5-1 win over Sweden.  Today, they’ll drop the puck on the prelimnary round by facing Latvia at 4 P-M.  Wednesday they face Slovakia, Thursday they’ve got Switzerland and on New Years Eve they wrap up the prelims against Finland.  The quarterfinals start January 2nd followed by the semifinals on January 4th and the medal games are Thursday, January 5th.
