Terminal 2 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was evacuated for a short time this morning after a suspicious item was discovered by a trash can near the ticketing counters. Airport spokesman Pat Hogan says the bomb squad verified the device was a rice cooker. A man was taken into custody for questioning after being identified through security footage leaving the device behind. Hogan says the man left the rice cooker behind when he learned he realized he could not take it along with him. Hogan says there were a few minimal flight delays involving both Southwest and Sun Country Airlines.
