Tom Bearson
An event is being held tonight at Sartell High School in memory of Tom Bearson, the N-D-S-U freshman killed in Fargo/Moorhead in 2014. “Hoopin For Tommy B Night” will take place during the boys basketball game. Bearson’s father, Greg, says Tommy B shirts will be available for $5 with money going to the foundation created in his memory. The Tom Bearson Foundation seeks to increase local opportunities in basketball through scholarships and by creating more gym space, in addition to partnering with organizations that promote on and off campus safety for all college students. No arrests have been made in Bearson’s murder.
