Officials say 15 Minnesotans who went to the big motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota have tested positive for COVID-19 and one is in the hospital. Minnesota Health Department Infectious Disease Director Kris Ehresmann says, “We know that there were many more people from Minnesota who attended the event, and expect to see additional cases in the coming days.”
Ehresmann says anyone who attended the Sturgis rally should self-quarantine for 14 days. If you feel ill, get tested for COVID-19 immediately and self-isolate while you wait for test results.
