Eighteen people ranging in age from 15 to 27 face various robbery charges in connection with two separate incidents in downtown Minneapolis last month. Surveillance video shows about a dozen people outside Target Field the morning of August 3rd, trying to take a man’s cell phone, kicking and beating him and ripping off his shoes and pants as they went through his pockets. Police say they identified suspects and received partial confessions from many of them. In a second robbery several blocks away on August 17th, assailants kicked a man and knocked him out, stealing his iPhone, wallet, keys and 100 dollars in cash. Police say surveillance video helped them identify 10 suspects in that case.
