A Brooklyn Center woman has been sentenced to more than 21 years in prison for killing a friend’s child who she was babysitting. 38-year-old Jennifer Baldwin told investigators she had no idea what happened to nine-month-old Colton Senogles, but when confronted with autopsy results, admitted she handled the baby aggressively. Prosecutors say Colton died of a “catastrophic head injury.” Baldwin’s attorney asked for a shorter sentence, noting the defendant is the mother of four children. The judge responded that situation is tragic but a murder conviction changes everything.
