Wild announce training camp schedule, open practice slate

Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin announced yesterday the National Hockey League (NHL) club will open training camp on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. at TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center in downtown St. Paul.

The Wild’s training camp roster consists of 58 players, including the following 22 players that participated in the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase:

Forwards: Caedan Bankier, Adam Beckman, Vladislav Firstov, Damien Giroux, Hunter Haight, Sam Hentges, Michael Milne, Servac Petrovsky, Josh Pillar Marco Rossi, Nick Swaney and Sammy Walker.
Defensemen: Benjamin Finkelstein, Daemon Hunt, Simon Johansson, Carson Lambos, Kyle Masters, Ryan O’Rourke and David Spacek.
Goaltenders: Hunter Jones, Thomas Milic and Jesper Wallstedt.

The Wild invited defensemen Turner Ottenbreit and Benjamin Finkelstein and forwards Ty Ronning, Mike O’Leary and Tanner Kaspick to training camp on professional tryouts. The team released forwards Kevin Conley and Aidan Castle and defenseman Justin Wells from their amateur tryouts.

The team also announced today that a number of training camp practices at TRIA Rink will be open to the public. Fans need to register at www.wild.com/openpractices to attend an open practice session.
