(Maplewood, MN) — Police have made a second arrest in a Maplewood home invasion involving a 75-year-old victim. A 23-year-old Minneapolis woman was taken into custody late yesterday (WED). She’s accused of making the initial contact with the victim and pointing a gun at her on January 2nd. A 25-year-old North St. Paul man was arrested for his role in the robbery on Tuesday. Police say two suspects forced their way into the victim’s home and stole jewelry, credit cards, keys and the victim’s driver’s license before strangling her to the point of unconsciousness. A third suspect, whose identity is known to investigators, remains at large.
