(Seattle, WA) — The Twins dropped their second straight series as the Mariners nipped them 2-1 on Sunday afternoon in Seattle. Randy Aronzarena singled in the winning run in the ninth for the walk off win to take two straight from Minnesota and take two of three in the series. The Twins also dropped two of three to the Rays to open the road trip. Twins starter Chris Paddack gave up just four hits and one run while striking out 10 over eight innings of work. But Griffen Jax suffered the loss in the bottom of the ninth. The Twins are now 31-27 on the season. They’ll finish off their 10 game road trip with four straight in Sacramento against the A’s. It will be the first trip for Minnesota to the A’s makeshift home while they wait for their new park and home in Vegas. The A’s are 23-37 on the season and have just one win since May 14th. The fell 8-4 in Toronto on Sunday and have lost six straight. First pitch tonight from Sutter Health Park is at 9:05 P-M.
