(Blaine, MN) — The seventh annual 3-M Open is now three weeks from opening day. The P-G-A Tour event will run from July 24th-27th at the T-P-C Twin Cities course in Blaine with a good field of professional golfers. Tourney director Mike Welch says they are getting the final preparations done to host the event, which is a marquee weekend in the Minnesota sports calendar. Welch says they have seen incremental increases in ticket sales and sponsor interest in each progressing year. He says 30 of the world’s top 80 golfers will be taking part, including several former major winners and several defending 3-M Open champions. Welch says the weather so far this spring and summer has put the course in great shape and he expects the players to like the condition. Tickets are available at the tourney’s webpage.
