The third-ranked Golden Gopher volleyball team is in action tomorrow night (Friday) as part of a tournament they are hosting this weekend. Minnesota has not played a home match this season, so tomorrow’s game against North Dakota is the home opener at the U of M Sports Pavilion. The Gophers will also play Toledo and UW-Green Bay on Saturday. Minnesota is 5-and-1 on the season. Senior outside hitter Sarah Wilhite of Eden Prairie is off to a hot start for the Golden Gophers, who won at 11th-rated North Carolina last weekend. Wilhite says her Minnesota team is looking forward to its first home match of the season on Friday.
