The man who shot and wounded protestors outside north Minneapolis’ 4th precinct was sentenced today to 15 years in prison. Allen Scarsella was convicted of shooting five demonstrators in the wake of police shooting and killing Jamar Clark in November 2015. Scarsella had claimed he was protecting himself after being threatened by protestors. But prosecutors showed video evidence of Scarsella in a car with another man wearing a mask, holding a handgun and using racial slurs on the way to the demonstration.
