Six people were injured in two separate shootings–believed to be gang-related–in downtown Minneapolis last night.
The first involved two victims and occurred just after 1am. A handgun was recovered soon after in a nearby parking lot. The second shooting happened about 15 minutes later and involved four victims. Five of the six victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the sixth is reported in serious condition. Officers arrested a suspect in the second shooting after a foot chase and recovered a gun.
Police say victims of both shootings are not cooperating with the investigation.
