(Minneapolis, MN) — An 82-year-old man is dead after a house fire in north Minneapolis last (THU) night. Officials were called to the home at around 6 pm and found a 62-year-old woman outside suffering from smoke inhalation. Inside, crews discovered the male victim in a wheelchair. He was brought out and given CPR, but efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. The woman was treated and taken to a hospital. Investigators say the fire may have started in the living room. The cause of the fire is undetermined but does not appear to be suspicious.
