Five more years in prison for the man who admitted to murdering his former boyfriend and business partner at a gas station in Arden Hills. 45-year-old Lyle “Ty” Hoffman was sentenced in federal court today (Wed) to additional time for robbing a bank in Blaine in late August 2014 while on the run from authorities. When Hoffman was arrested 12 days later at a fast-food restaurant in Shakopee, he had over three thousand dollars in dye-stained money on him.
