Thousands of Minnesotans may qualify for healthcare coverage through MNsure’s special enrollment period. CEO Allison O’Toole says you are eligible for the special enrollment if you’ve had certain “qualifying life events.”
“That means if Minnesotans get married, or have a baby, or even have an income change for some reason, they are still eligible to enroll.”
If you qualify for a SEP, you usually have up to 60 days following the event to enroll in a plan. If you miss that window, you have to wait until November 1st when the next open enrollment period kicks off. For more information head to MNsure’s website. MNsure
