(Minneapolis, MN) — The ACLU of Minnesota and Minneapolis NAACP are announcing a lawsuit today (TUE) against the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to force the release of footage from the fatal police shooting of Jamar Clark. Activists and community members have been calling for the release of the tapes since Clark’s shooting on November 15th of last year. Some witnesses at the scene say Clark was handcuffed and unarmed when he was shot. The BCA has said they will not release any videos until their investigation is complete.
