(Balsam Lake, WI) — A Wisconsin jury today (MON) found Levi Acre-Kendall not guilty on all counts in the stabbing death of 34-year-year-old Peter Kelly. The 20-year-old defendant was accused of fatally stabbing Kelly on April 14th after a long argument near the St. Croix River. Acre-Kendall claimed he acted in self defense. Acre-Kendall had been charged with first degree reckless homicide, second-degree intentional homicide and second degree reckless homicide. Jurors deliberated for much of Saturday and Sunday before announcing their verdicts this morning.
