>>Twins Announce Leadership Changes

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins have announced organizational changes. Longtime President and CEO Dave St. Peter will transition to an advisory role. Derek Falvey will be elevated to President of Baseball and Business Operations, and Jeremy Zoll will be promoted to general manager. St. Peter will advise the Twins ownership through the potential sale process, but he says one thing that won’t change is the family atmosphere at the ballpark. He says, “The family tradition of Twins baseball is paramount. That will continue long after I’m gone. Still, we’ll continue to invest in it, improve the Target Field experience, and find ways for Twins baseball to be more accessible to fans across the region. These changes take effect in early 2025 before the new season.

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota House remains split 67-67. Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) says this year’s possible upset shows the impact of extreme abortion votes. Co-Executive Director Cathy Blaeser (Blazer) hopes Republicans can take control of the Senate and “usher back in balanced governing and reasonable laws.” She says, “The last two years have brought many, many extreme laws, particularly in regards to our most vulnerable citizens, the unborn and disabled babies.” Blaeser credits the tie to MCCL’s TV and digital ads in targeted districts across the state this election season to better inform voters about Minnesota’s current abortion policies.

>>Dilworth Man Identified as Hunter Shot in Head in Moorhead

(Moorhead, MN) — The man shot in the head during a hunting accident in Moorhead Saturday has been identified. 34-year-old Jace Srur of Dilworth was shot by a stray bullet from someone within his deer hunting party. The gunshot wound to the head is considered life-threatening and non-survivable. The incident remains under investigation.

>>Mankato Mosque Reports Attempted Arson

(Mankato, MN) — Authorities are searching for a suspect who attempted to start a fire near a mosque in Mankato. Abdi Sabrie, a board member of the Islamic Center of Mankato, reported that a man held a lighter to leave and brush near the building on Sunday while children were studying inside. The suspect fled the scene on a fat-tired bicycle. Surveillance footage captured the man wearing a red and black jacket. Fortunately, the arson attempt was unsuccessful and resulted in no injuries or significant damage.

>>Rare Triple Organ Transplant Done On Minnesota Man

(Rochester, MN) — A Minnesota man is recovering from a rare triple organ transplant at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Mike Loven now has a new kidney, heart, and lungs. He’s on his road to recovery and walked his first mile yesterday on the treadmill during rehab. Loven is on track to go home by December 30th.

>> Target Announces Black Friday, Holiday Shopping Hours

(Minneapolis) – Target has announced its shopping hours for Black Friday and the holiday season. On Black Friday, November 29, the Minneapolis-based retailer will open at 6 a.m. for 18 hours of shopping. For the rest of the holiday season, from November 30 until December 23, Target stores will open for extended hours every day from 7 a.m. until midnight. Target will not be open on Thanksgiving Day for the fifth year so employees can enjoy the day with their families.
