Around 1:45 this morning, police responded to an apartment building on reports of two people stealing occupants’ cars at gunpoint. Officers found the suspects, but they refused to stop. The suspects fled on foot and have not been located since.

(Sauk Rapids, MN) — A Sauk Rapids police officer is charged with sexually abusing a minor roughly 17 years ago. Prosecutors say Andrew Jensen was 16 to 18 years old when he abused a girl about six or seven years old multiple times over many months. The victim came forward to her family in December 2024. When the victim confronted Jensen with adult family members in tow, Jensen admitted to the abuse. He was put on administrative leave, then unpaid leave.

The Minnesota Department of Revenue says Jafar Siraj failed to provide income tax returns from 2018 through 2023 and falsified returns by underreporting business sales from 2019 to 2023. Siraj operated two businesses, Juba Valley Trucking and JacFar Income Tax. Officials say Siraj owes over $356,000 in income tax, penalties, and interest. He faces a maximum penalty of 60 years in prison, a $600,000 fine, or both.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a plain black baseball cap. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
