(Faribault, MN) — An SUV vs. tractor crash took the life of a Faribault woman on Sunday. State Patrol responded to the crash around 5:00 p.m. north of Faribault on Highway 3. 58-year-old Laura Daily was northbound when she collided with a tractor making a left turn. Daily was pronounced dead at a Northfield hospital. Her passenger, 30-year-old Brianna Daily, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 64-year-old tractor driver Myron Reuvers of Faribault was unharmed.

(Crow Wing County, MN) — An Onamia man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Crow Wing County Sunday. Deputies say while driving through Maple Grove around 4:30 p.m., the 60-year-old man’s truck left the roadway and crashed into a ditch. He died at the scene. The crash is under investigation.

(Minneapolis, MN) — A man is critically injured after a stabbing at a downtown Minneapolis bar this weekend. Police responded to The Saloon around 2 a.m. Saturday, finding a man with apparent life-threatening injuries. The victim and suspect, one of the bar’s security guards, were taken to a hospital. The guard was treated and arrested for assault.

(Minneapolis, MN) — Aiding and abetting second-degree murder charges is what a Minneapolis man faces for his role in a gas station shooting. On November 25th, police responded to a Full Stop gas station in Minneapolis on a shooting report. Officers found 23-year-old Hussanee Harris with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Surveillance video showed the suspect pistol-whip Harris before shooting him. He fled in a car, and the charged 22-year-old Martaveis Roberts was driving.

(St. Paul, MN) – Following the passing of former Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has announced a special election will be held to fill the vacancy in Senate District 60 in Hennepin County. Dziedzic died Friday after a two-year battle with ovarian cancer. The special election will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. On the same day, a special election will be held in House District 40B in Ramsey County following the resignation of Representative-elect Curtis Johnson. A court ruled Johnson could not be sworn in because he lied about his residency during the campaign.

(St. Paul, MN) — A 17-year-old is injured after an early morning shooting in St. Paul. Police brought the victim to Regions Hospital around 6:45 a.m. Officials believe the shooting happened at a residence. No other victims were found. The investigation continues as no arrests have been made.

(St. Cloud, MN) — A St. Cloud man is in custody after crashing a motorcycle. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened just after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday about five miles north of Little Falls in Belle Prairie Township. 28-year-old Christian Ramiro lost control of the motorcycle and went into the ditch. Ramiro was allegedly involved in a police chase with the motorcycle with the Rice Police Department earlier that night, and the motorcycle had been reported stolen from St. Cloud. Ramiro was taken to St. Gabriel’s Hospital, where he was treated and released for minor injuries. He was returned to Rice Police and brought to the Stearns County Jail.

(Duluth, MN) — Duluth Police arrested a 23-year-old man today in relation to stolen gear from the Mankato Hockey Team. On Saturday, police responded to a report of an overnight theft of over 30 hockey sticks. Later that day, police announced they had arrested a man for an unrelated warrant but recovered items and made arrangements to return them.
