(West St. Paul, MN) — West St. Paul Police are searching for a missing teen. 12-year-old Jae’ana Payne left her home on January 9th and was last seen at a Motel 6 in Roseville. She’s described as Black, 5 feet tall, 85 pounds, with long, black braided hair and brown eyes. Payne was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with black writing, jeans, and UGG boots. (West St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota BCA reports 56-year-old Douglas Barth is safe after disappearing for 20 days. Barth was last seen on January 3rd at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). Before this, he was last seen at his West St. Paul apartment in November. Officials are concerned for his health and welfare. Barth is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 188 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes.

(Burlington, VT) — A Washington woman is in custody and charged with assault on a federal law enforcement officer relating to the death of a Minnesotan U.S. Border Patrol agent. 44-year-old David “Chris” Maland was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota. He was killed Monday in Vermont following a traffic stop. Today, the FBI has announced that 21-year-old Teresa Youngblut was arrested. Officials say Youngblut was driving a vehicle with a German national when Border Patrol stopped them for an immigration inspection. The German man, Felix Baukholt, had an expired visa. Court documents say Youngblut allegedly drew and fired a handgun at agents from the driver’s side, and an agent shot at the vehicle. Baukholt died at the scene, and Maland was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Youngblut was also shot and survived.

(St. Paul, MN) — St. Paul police and fire are investigating an early morning apartment fire. Crews responded to the fire around 12:39, finding flames coming from the basement of a three-story building. No one was injured. Officials say the fire could have been intentionally set using food and trash, and that several other fires have happened in the same area.

(Minneapolis, MN) – The Minnesota Twins announced former third baseman Corey Koskie will be the next member of the club’s Hall of Fame. Koskie spent seven seasons in a Twins uniform. Twins President and CEO Dave St. Peter says besides his baseball statistics, Koskie was also a leader in the clubhouse and community. He becomes the 41st member of the Twins Hall of Fame. He will be inducted on Sunday, August 17 as the Twins host the Detroit Tigers.
