Bishop is described as Black, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 230 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Dakota 911.

(Burnsville, MN) — A Burnsville woman has been charged with the second-degree murder of 70-year-old Michael Riccio of Minneapolis. On July 18th, 25-year-old Josephine Powers called the Burnsville Police Department to report a shooting at her home earlier this month. A witness told officers Riccio was allegedly shot July 9th by Powers following an argument. Riccio was shot in the head, and his body was wrapped in tarps and carpet. His body was brought to a Minneapolis shed days later after Power asked Christopher Hawkins to move a package from her home in exchange for a pickup truck. A search warrant of the address turned up Riccio’s body in a gray container in the backyard. Powers is being held on $1 million bail without condition; her next court appearance is scheduled for August 1st in Hastings. Hawkins is being held at Hennepin County Jail for a separate reason.

Officers learned Sunday that 41-year-old Donald Sanderson was coming to Minnesota from California on a suspected drug buy. When trying to stop Sanderson’s vehicle with stop sticks on the I-35 in Steele County, Sanderson continued driving. He pulled over around 2:45 p.m., dropping a woman off before driving away. The woman was arrested and told police Sanderson had a gun. The pursuit continued, and Sanderson eventually pulled over near Faribault around 3 p.m., ignoring officers’ commands to drop his weapon and surrender, firing a shot at the ground. The interstate was shut down for negotiation. Sanderson shot a law enforcement drone and attempted to shoot himself. He lost control of the gun, fled into a farm field, and was taken down by an Apple Valley K-9.

(Rochester, MN) — A Rochester man faces multiple charges after a police search of his home in connection with a missing juvenile case. Rochester Police contacted 35-year-old Donald Priester at his Rochester home Saturday, asking about a missing juvenile, who had contacted him. Priester said he had been with the juvenile several hours before police arrived. When officers searched the home for the juvenile, they found three “ghost guns,” ammunition, 152 suspected MDMA pills, 3.8 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, 17 suspected Xanax bars, and drug sales evidence. Priester was arrested with over $3,200 in cash on him. Priester is due in court next month. Court documents make no further mention of the missing juvenile.

(Brooklyn Park, MN) — A seven-year-old was attacked by a dog in Brooklyn Park, the second incident in less than a week. Police responded to the attack around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday. The girl had superficial injuries from the. Officers searched for the dog, and while attempting to secure it, the dog tried to attack another child. The dog was killed, and the incident is under investigation. This comes after a three-year-old boy was attacked by two dogs Friday, putting him in critical condition and severely injuring another adult. One of the two dogs was killed.

(Perham, MN) — A man wanted on outstanding warrants in Louisiana was arrested Tuesday around 1 p.m. in Perham. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant was used to arrest 48-year-old Cleveland Mingo at an apartment. Based on the nature of the warrants, the Otter Tail County SWAT team was used, and Mingo was taken into custody without incident. Perham Police and the Minnesota BCA assisted in the arrest.
