Her family is concerned she may be with an older man. Sequoia is described as Black, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 113 pounds, with brown eyes and auburn hair. She was last seen wearing a dark pink bonnet, a pink zip-up sweatshirt with a blue shirt underneath, and green camo pants, carrying a black purse. Anyone with information should call 651-675-5700.

Now let’s get back to the real work of economics and the growing of the food, making sure we’re innovating for the future.” The governor says the state is looking at other trade partners around the world to offset the effect of these tariffs on Minnesota farmers.

(St. Paul, MN) – A bill to fund suicide prevention measures on Washington Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis makes its way to be voted on by the House. Executive Director of SAVE, Suicidal Voices of Education, says “This is the first time in 50 years that there has been a constructive approach to address this challenge.” The location has been a suicide attempt focal location for decades, affecting students and residents. Funding for the bridge was included in the 2024 Bonding Bill but failed to pass the Senate before the end of the legislative session.

(St. Paul, MN) – Today, Attorney General Keith Ellison is filing a lawsuit against construction company Absolute Drywall for violating the Minnesota Human Rights Act. In January 2021, Plaintiff Norma Izaguirre, a former Absolute Drywall employee, was sexually harassed and assaulted, and in May 2021, raped at an Eagan worksite. She reported the harassment to the construction company five times before being terminated. Ellison says, “Norma’s courage will inspire and help us to hold Absolute Drywall accountable and if others peak up, we can do more to protect workers across the industry.”

(Eagan, MN) — A massage therapist is facing felony charges in Dakota County for the alleged sexual assault of a client at his studio in Eagan. Prosecutors say 32-year-old Johnny Le of Richfield is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. A woman told police that Le sexually assaulted her during a massage on December 20th. The Dakota County Attorney’s Office says this is the third complaint it has filed against Le for sexual misconduct and each case involves a different victim. Any other possible victims are asked to contact the Eagan Police Department.

(St. Paul, MN) — A funeral for a retired St. Paul police officer will take place next Monday. Felicia Reilly died Saturday after battling a traumatic brain injury (TBI) received on the job 15 years ago. She responded to a domestic dispute and was kicked in the back of the head several times. Reilly’s family says her symptoms forced her to retire early and only worsened over time. The funeral will be held at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in St. Paul at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Her family has requested a strong police presence.

(Undated) — The Department of Agriculture (MDA) proposes Spongy Moth management in 43 areas across eastern Minnesota this year. Spongy moth are among the nation’s most destructive invasive pests, causing significant environmental and economic impacts. The treatment areas total nearly 115,000 acres in Aitkin, Anoka, Carlton, Fillmore, Houston, Itasca, Pine, St. Louis, and Winona counties. The leaf-eating insect, found mostly in Wisconsin, continues its push into northeastern and southeastern Minnesota. An interactive map is available on the MDA website.
