She’s described as Black, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 330 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Tiffany is without her required daily medication, and there’s concern for her well-being. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

(Rochester, MN) — A Rochester man faces three counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly impregnating a teenager. The 19-year-old victim told police she and 43-year-old Pierre Stanifer began a sexual relationship when she was 14, and she became pregnant at 15. Police say Stanifer denied the allegations, but a DNA test of the baby proved him to be the father.

(Rochester, MN) — The family of the child subject to being called the n-word multiple times at a Rochester playground is demanding criminal justice. The viral video shows a woman, self-identified as Shiloh Hendrix, calling a child a racist slur, accusing the boy of stealing from her child’s diaper bag. The boy’s family says they don’t feel safe in their community, especially after Hendrix managed to raise over $700,000 through an online fundraiser. The Rochester Chapter of the NAACP is working with the family to demand charges be brought against Hendrix, help raise money for the family, and create community resources. Rochester Police say they’ve finished their investigation and have sent their findings to the city attorney’s office.

(Ely, MN) — Officials deem lightning the cause of another wildfire in northern Minnesota. Superior National Forest staff say the Horse River fire began last night after a tree on the ridgetop was struck by lightning. The fire is not contained and has burned 10 acres in the BWCA just northeast of Ely.

(St. Paul, MN ) — Minnesota teachers, police officers, and firefighters will now get a pay raise when it comes to their state pensions. Governor Tim Walz signed the new pensions bill that will adjust the retirement benefits for these Minnesotans. The law also includes state patrol officers and public employees. The teacher retirement plan now lowers the age of retirement from 62 to 60 for teachers with 30 years of service. Firefighters and police officers will see a boost in the cost-of-living adjustment. The governor signed eight other bills today.

(St. Paul, MN) – Governor Tim Walz is encouraging all Minnesotans to lower their flags on Memorial Day. The governor has ordered all U.S. and Minnesota state flags to fly at half-staff on Monday from sunrise until noon this coming Monday. It is to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the United States military. The governor says, “The sacrifice of those who defend our freedom and democracy cannot be repaid; as we work toward peace, let us never forget those who have served on our behalf.” Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in lowering their flags.
