Manny, is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white ribbed tank top with red and black plaid pants. Police say multiple people have been interviewed, and forensic evidence is being processed. A person of interest has been established, but no arrests or charges have been made. Coordinated searches have been conducted at parks in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of 49th Avenue NE and University Avenue NE.

(Mora, MN) — The family of a four-year-old boy killed in a crash in Chisago County is looking for answers. The deadly collision happened in Mora in March. Ashlee Klapperick has been charged with criminal vehicular homicide. She was driving her vehicle when her son, Anthony Sobaski, died in the head-on crash. A second son in the vehicle survived. Prosecutors say the defendant confessed that she recently used meth and THC. The child’s grandmother wants to know why Hennepin County Child Protective Services did not do more to keep the children safe.

(Minneapolis) MN) — A suspect in the Feeding the Future fraud case is accused of trying to flee the country. Hibo Daar was arrested over the weekend at a Twin Cities airport. She appeared in federal court yesterday in Minneapolis on a charge of wire fraud. Prosecutors say the defendant from Eden Prairie used federal funds to buy luxury homes, cars, and other items. Daar is the head of the Northside Wellness Center, and she claimed to have served hundreds of thousands of meals to children. She remains behind bars without bond before her court hearing on Friday.

(Becker County, MN) — Two people suffered injuries, one life-threatening, after a motorcycle crash in Becker County. Deputies responded to a 911 call of a single-cycle crash in Detroit Lakes around 8:20 p.m. on Monday. The driver, 26-year-old Jacob Riggle from Waubun, was brought to a hospital in Detroit Lakes. The passenger, 26-year-old Asia Bevins from Ogema, was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo for life-threatening injuries. Their conditions are unknown. Neither party was wearing helmets, and alcohol is believed to be a factor.

(Rochester, MN) — Several faith leaders from southwestern Minnesota are up in arms about possible cuts to Medicaid and programs for low-income residents. Demonstrators held a protest yesterday outside of Congressman Brad Finstad’s Rochester office. The concern surfaced after the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed in the U.S. House by one vote. The bill intends to reduce the number of people with Medicaid benefits. Finstad was one of the representatives who voted to pass the legislation. The measure still needs to get approved by the Senate before it can be signed into law.

The Lynx play the Mercury Friday night in Phoenix and the Golden State Valkyries on Sunday in San Francisco.

(Tampa Bay, FL) — The Twins fell to the Rays 5-0 in the series finale this afternoon in Tampa Bay. Minnesota starter Pablo López allowed four runs over five innings to take the loss. Brandon Lowe and Junior Caminero hit homers off Lopez for Tampa. Drew Rasmussen pitched six scoreless innings for the win. The Twins are off Thursday and open a three-game series Friday in Seattle.
