>>Federal Agents Back in St. Paul

(St. Paul, MN) — For the second time in less than a week, armed and masked federal agents converged on a St. Paul home this morning to carry out an operation as activists gathered nearby in support of those targeted. In a strongly worded statement, U.S. Senator Tina Smith said, “We’re still gathering information about what happened in St. Paul, but what we do know is that once again, federal authorities provided no notice to local leaders or law enforcement. This is their playbook: no warning, no transparency, no coordination. Their goal here isn’t safety, it’s to sow chaos, fear, and intimidation. Minnesotans deserve answers.”

Ellison says this will force tens of thousands of formerly homeless people to be evicted at no fault of their own. The lawsuit claims HUD violated its own regulations.
