His family says Cheney died Monday from complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease at age 84. Cheney served two terms as vice president under President George W. Bush said, “he will always remember Cheney for being a decent, honorable man.” The Republican Party of Minnesota has not released a statement in response to Vice President Cheney’s death.

(Maple Plain, MN) — A 17-year-old girl is accused of an armed robbery on Monday evening in Maple Plain. West Hennepin Public Safety says the victim arranged a sale on Facebook Marketplace and was robbed at gunpoint during the transaction. The suspect fled into a nearby residence and came out of the home following negotiations with police. Officers say a handgun and several pieces of evidence were recovered. The teenage girl was booked in juvenile detention pending armed robbery charges.

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild wrap up a six-game homestand tonight (Tues, 7pm) against the Nashville Predators. Minnesota skated past the Vancouver Canucks 5-2 on Saturday night. The team is hosting another 25th anniversary celebration at tonight’s game. Former Wild goalies Niklas Backstrom, Devan Dubnyk, and Josh Harding will be part of the festivities and signing autographs.
