She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and dark sweatpants with zebra print Crocs. Mkeilah has a septum piercing, a dermal piercing underneath her eye, and a star tattoo on her left ring finger. Anyone with information is asked to call MPD.

(Shakopee, MN) — The Minnesota BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing endangered man. 39-year-old Ratta Chann was last seen leaving Shakopee on foot around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. Chann is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue, white, and green striped polo, a blue sweatshirt and sweatpants, and black shoes. Chann does not have his medication and may not be communicative. Officials believe he’s heading towards Brooklyn Center or the Twin Cities, specifically the area of the Dorothy Day Center or Union Gospel Mission. Anyone with information is asked to call Scott County Dispatch.

(Minneapolis, MN) — A 57-year-old man faces second-degree assault charges for shooting a man during a social gathering in Minneapolis. Police responded to the residential shooting around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, finding a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound who was brought to Hennepin Healthcare. Around 7:30 p.m., officers arrested the suspect. Investigators say the suspect had been with his girlfriend at the family gathering when a verbal argument escalated to gunfire.

(St. Paul, MN) — A juvenile is in custody after admitting to posting threats on social media that caused two charter schools to close today. The online threats began Wednesday with someone saying they were going to commit a shooting at over 20 schools in St. Paul, prompting the Community School of Excellence and Hope Community Academy to cancel classes for the day. Police say the threat had no credibility and no one was in danger. This comes just one week after a school shooting by a 14-year-old student in Georgia that killed four people and injured nine others.
