(Minneapolis, MN) — Activists spoke outside the Minneapolis Federal Courthouse today, urging U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson to drop charges against a local artist and organizer. Isavela López faces felony assault charges after a June protest in Minneapolis, where local and federal agents, including ICE, did crowd control. The protest stemmed from a raid on two restaurants in the area. Supporters say Lopez was violently detained and is being targeted for speaking out. A rally is planned ahead of her next court hearing on September 29th.

He was the youngest Minnesota legislator in history. He served in both the House and Senate. Jude has been a district judge for the past 11 years.

Coach Kevin O’ Connell says it’s been cool to see McCarthy change after the birth, and that it’s “an awesome moment as a father myself to see his reaction to it and the best day of his life.” McCarthy was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for leading the Vikes to a comeback win at Chicago in his first career start.
