Castillo apologized to Woodhull’s family today in court, saying he believes Corrina “will be waiting for him in heaven to give him a hug.” Castillo was denied a reduced sentence due to a traumatic childhood and drug problems, his defense arguing he was in a “drug-induced psychosis” the night of the murder.

(St. Paul, MN) — A 16-year-old accused of fatally shooting a man outside a St. Paul tobacco shop Tuesday faces one count of second-degree murder. Officials say around 12:30 p.m., the suspect, Knyaw Taw, and the victim, 22-year-old Davion Brown, started talking outside the shop, which escalated into an argument, and then gunfire. Surveillance footage shows Taw fleeing the scene on his bike. Police later found Taw nearby and arrested him after a short pursuit. Prosecutors have filed a motion for Taw to be tried as an adult.

Live video footage showed Adams handing the drugs to the inmate, which were later identified as 101 anti-depressant pills and a half ounce of methamphetamine. (Chatfield, MN) — A Chatfield sex offender faces charges following an undercover child sex solicitation sting. The sting began on September 3rd when an undercover law enforcement officer created a social media profile featuring two pictures of a young woman. 44-year-old Marvin Fear, under the username “Juneyour,” messaged the account, saying he wanted to have sex with the girl after he was told she was under 18 years old. Fear also allegedly sent the account two sexually explicit images of himself. Rochester and Brainerd Police executed a search warrant on Fear’s home on September 10th, finding he had a tattoo that matched the one seen in the images sent. Fear appears in court later this month. He was previously convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct in Aitkin County in 2014.

Bohn was arrested on August 23rd after his uncle, who lives at the neighboring cabin, told deputies he had sold the boat to Bohn before the burglary. Bohn’s girlfriend told Fargo police he had returned home that weekend with the reported stolen items.
