Prosecutors say one of the victims suffered severe anemia as a result of malnourishment, and the child nearly died because of the defendants’ collective failure to provide care. Robin Roy was sentenced to two years, Nicole Roy received one year and a day, and Dudley spent four months in federal prison.

Farnick was taken by ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls with unknown injuries. The report says she was not wearing a helmet or reflective clothing.

Officers found three men outside a residence, one without a shirt and on the ground. The men fled, and the officer found one man behind a residence. The man, later identified as Tyler Edwards, matched the physical and clothing description of the first caller’s report.

This comes after an individual responded to a New York Times article on the Madinah Lake development project, a Muslim-centered project building homes and businesses surrounding a mosque, in an email to Lino Lakes and CAIR-MN, saying “Islam hates us,” “Islam’s our declared enemy,” “don’t believe the lying Muslims,” and more. Lino Lakes Councilmember Christopher Lynden has received calls from CAIR-MN to resign after he responded to the email with “Might be the best email I have ever received! Thank you, Sir!”

(Moorhead, MN) — A Moorhead man is facing several charges for kicking out the windows of a Cass County Sheriff’s Department squad and later a prisoner transport van. 34-year-old Dalton Beyer was stopped by a deputy in Horace Saturday night. After he was arrested for drunken driving, the sheriff’s office says Beyer kicked out a window in the squad. He was then transferred to a transport van, kicked out a window again, and taken to the Cass County Jail. Combined damages are estimated at $7,600. Multiple charges are expected to include assault on a peace officer, preventing arrest, conspiracy to escape, and criminal mischief. The county says it will ask for reimbursement for damages caused by Beyer.

The incident took place on Saturday morning when the police received reports of a man with an AK-47 firing shots inside an apartment building. Residents heard multiple gunshots and the sound of breaking glass. The 40-year-old suspect was shot in the jaw by the police and is reportedly in stable condition. Authorities stated that he was wearing a military-style vest and was also carrying a handgun along with a backpack full of ammunition.

(St. Louis Park, MN) — Two counts of third-degree murder have been added to 56-year-old Steven Bailey’s charges in the September 1st drunk-driving crash that killed two people and injured nine others. The decision, announced today (MON), was made by the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office after reviewing surveillance video from the restaurant Bailey hit, Park Tavern in St. Louis Park. A preliminary breath sample showed Bailey had a BAC of .325 at the time of the crash, four times above the legal limit. He also faces two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and nine counts of criminal vehicular operation.
