Anoka wants 2016 Halloween stamp ceremonies

Boosters in Anoka have enlisted some high-profile help as they try to convince the U-S Postal Service to roll out its 2016 Halloween stamp in that community. Senator Amy Klobuchar wrote a letter to the postmaster general and says there couldn’t be a better place than Anoka for official ceremonies.  Klobuchar says it’s the Halloween Capital of the World, the tradition started back in 1920 and Anoka has one of the few Halloween parades in the world.”  The annual event attracts thousands.
