Player Notes
• Anthony Edwards finished the night with a game-high 36 points on 13-of-22 shooting, including 3-of-5 from three and six rebounds, marking his second consecutive and third 30+ point game of this year’s playoffs (18th playoff career). After scoring 32 points against the Spurs in Game 3, Edwards became the first player to score 30+ points in back-to-back playoff games since LeBron James did so against San Antonio in Games 6 and 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals.
• Edwards’ 18 career playoff games with 30+ points tied Dwyane Wade for the fourth-most 30+ point playoff games by a player before turning 25 years old.
• Tonight also marked Edwards’ first 35+ point/5+ rebound game of this year’s playoffs and the seventh such playoff game of his career. Edwards is one of only two players (Kevin Garnett) in franchise playoff history to record 35+ points and 5+ rebounds in a playoff game and the only Timberwolves player to do so multiple times.
• Edwards scored 16 points in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game, marking his fourth 10+ point quarter of this year’s playoffs (42nd playoff career) and his second 10+ point fourth quarter of this year’s playoffs (11th playoff career). His 16 points were the second-most fourth quarter points in franchise playoff history (April 26, 2024 at Phoenix; Game 3: Edwards: 18 points in the fourth quarter).
• Jaden McDaniels ended the night with 14 points and six rebounds, marking his seventh 10+ point/5+ rebound game of this year’s playoffs (16th playoff career).
• McDaniels has now scored 10+ points in all 10 playoff games this year, prior to this postseason, his longest 10+point playoff game streak was five (May 6 – May 14, 2025).
• Naz Reid came off the bench to log 30:34 minutes of action, finishing with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting, nine rebounds and a game-high-tying four assists, marking his seventh consecutive and eighth 10+ point/5+ rebound game off the bench of this year’s playoffs (19th playoff career). Reid’s seven consecutive 10+ point/5+ rebound games off the bench mark the longest such streak in franchise history and are tied for the second longest playoff streak in NBA history. Only Utah’s Paul Milsap (April 17 – May 4, 2010; eight games) has recorded a longest streak off the bench.
• Rudy added 11 points, a game-high 13 rebounds and a game-high-tying four assists, marking his fourth double-double of this year’s playoffs and the 45th such game of his playoff career. Gobert is the 40th player in NBA history to have 45+ playoff games with a point/rebound double-double.
• Tonight marked just the second time in Gobert’s career that he led his team in assists in a playoff game, with the only other instance coming earlier in this year’s playoffs (April 30, 2026: Game 6 vs. Denver).
Team Notes

3. Scott Skiles, PHX-CHI-MIL 6-2 (.750)
