Player Notes
•Anthony Edwards finished tonight’s contest with 25 points on 10-of-20 shooting, including 4-of-7 from deep, seven rebounds, and a season-high and game-high nine assists, marking his fourth 25+ point/5+ rebound/5+ assist game of the season (76th career), his 16th 25+ point/5+ rebound showing of the season (145th career). Tonight also marked his ninth 25+ point/5+ assist game this season (105th career) and his 23rd 25+ point game of the year (211th career).
•As Edwards hit a 13-foot field goal with 6:54 remaining in the fourth quarter, he reached 10,000 career points (currently 10,002 points), making him the third-youngest player (24 years, 156 days) in NBA history to reach that mark, trailing only LeBron James (23 years, 59 days) and Kevin Durant (24 years, 33 days).
•By reaching this milestone in his 412th career game, Edwards is now the seventh fastest active NBA player to reach that mark and the 28th-fastest overall player in NBA history to do so.

•Edwards is the eighth player to score their 10,000th career point in a Timberwolves uniform and the third to do so entirely with Minnesota (Kevin Garnett, Karl-Anthony Towns). He is the youngest Wolves player to reach this mark and with 412 contests under his belt, he has completed this milestone in 23 less games than the next fastest player in franchise records (Towns – 435 games).
•Julius Randle led the Wolves tonight with team-high 28 points on 10-of-22 shooting, including 3-of-7 from deep, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, marking his third 25+ point/10+ rebound/5+ assist game of the year (49th career), his third 25+ point/10+ rebound showing of the season (91st career). Additionally, tonight marks his ninth double-double of the season (291st career) and his 14th 25+ point performance this season (189th career).\
•Donte DiVincenzo ended the night with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including a season-high-tying 6-of-10 from three and four assists, marking his fifth 20+ point game of the season (43rd career). Tonight also marks DiVincenzo’s ninth career game shooting 60.0+% on at least 10 three-point attempts and his first time doing so since April 8, 2025 vs. Milwaukee.
•Rudy Gobert closed with 11 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting, a game-high 13 rebounds, three assists and a season-high-tying two steals, marking his 17th double-double of the season (493rd career). Gobert extended his double-double streak to four games, the longest active streak among NBA centers and the 47th time he has strung together at least four such performances in his career.

•With tonight’s 131-122 victory, Minnesota is now 6-1 when scoring 130+ points this year, tied for the fourth-most such wins in the NBA.
•With Edwards (25 points), McDaniels (26 points), and Randle (28 points), the Wolves had three players scoring 25+ points tonight, marking the 23rd time a trio of teammates scored 25+ points in an NBA game this season and the first time the Wolves have done so this year. Last season, Minnesota did so two times. This marked the second time Edwards, McDaniels and Randle have each scored 25+ points in a game for Minnesota (March 5, 2025 at Charlotte – Edwards: 29 points, McDaniels: 29 points and Randle: 25 points).]
•Additionally, with DiVincenzo scoring 22 points, tonight marked the 17th time in franchise history Minnesota had four players scoring 20+ points in a game and the first time since Oct. 26, 2022 vs. San Antonio – Edwards: 34 points, McDaniels: 20 points, Jaylen Nowell: 23 points and Towns: 21 points.
•Shooting 56.7% (51-of-90) from the floor and 52.6% (20-of-38) from deep, Minnesota has reached 50.0+% from both distances for the second time this season.
•The Timberwolves hit 20 three-pointers tonight, the third time they have reached that mark this season. Minnesota has claimed wins in all three qualifying games.
•In the third quarter, the Wolves scored a season-high-tying 43 points to the Cavaliers’ 22 points. This marks Minnesota’s ninth 40+ point quarter this season and the third time they have outscored an opponent by at least 20 points in a frame this year.
•Tonight, Minnesota dished out 33 assists, the 12th time they reached the 30-assist mark this season, going 9-3 in those contests.
