An April snowstorm has Minnesota in its cross-hairs, with a winter storm warning in effect for the southeast tonight and tomorrow, and a winter weather advisory for central Minnesota. MN-DOT’s Mike Dougherty in Rochester advises, get up a little early Tuesday morning and check 511mn-dot-org: “See where it’s at, what the road conditions are like. You can look at snowplow cameras, get a good visual on what things look like for the snowplow operators, and then make that determination,” he says.
The Weather Service predicts snow accumulations up to four inches in some areas tonight and more snow tomorrow, up to seven inches. Colder Tuesday night, with lows between one- and nine-above — and unseasonably cold temperatures right through the weekend.
