A suspect is under arrest in connection with a sexual assault of a teenage girl in Pine City.
A 28-year-old Wyoming, Minnesota man is accused of assaulting the girl Tuesday night in a park. The victim told officials that she and the suspect were Facebook friends, but had never met in person prior to the assault and had *NOT* arranged to meet that day. Investigators say the suspect admitted to assaulting the victim and said the she tried to fight him off and yell for help.
The suspect has a prior criminal sexual conduct conviction from January in Anoka County.
