Authorities are asking the public to call in any tips as they continue a nationwide search for a missing teen from western Wisconsin. Deputies found the bodies of 13-year-old Jayme Closs’s parents when they responded to a 9-1-1 call. Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said Wednesday afternoon, “Her parents died from gunshot wounds. That’s why we’re ruling this a homicide. There was no gun found on the scene, and we believe Jamie was home, based on the evidence.” Sheriff Fitzgerald says he doesn’t know whether it was a random or targeted attack, and there have been no credible sightings. Anyone with information should call the tipline at 855-744-3879.
