Authorities looking for man missing from Bemidji area since Christmas Eve

State officials are asking the public’s help in locating a man missing from the Bemidji area who suffers from mental illness. 35-year-old Matthew Asa was last seen at his apartment complex (Northland Apartments) on Christmas Eve. He was wearing a camo “Army” jacket, black tennis shoes and possibly sweatpants. Anyone with information should contact the Bemidji Police Department.
