Authorities say a man from Vergas is the pilot who died in an ultralight plane crash Thursday afternoon at Hawley Municipal Airport in western Minnesota. 69-year-old Bradley Gibb was the only person on board and died at the scene. A bystander was treated for minor burns after pulling Gibb from the plane. Investigators have not yet determined why it crashed.
