(Minneapolis, MN)  —  John Blackwell hit a 3-pointer at the horn to help the Badgers beat the Gophers 78-75 on Tuesday night at Williams Arena.  Blackwell ended up with 27 points as the Badgers rallied from an 11 point deficit in the second half.  Cade Tyson momentarily tied the game at 75-75 when he hit a three with just five seconds left in the contest.  But Blackwell answered immediately to seal the victory.  Tyson ended up with 14 points while former Gopher Braeden Carrington came off the bench to sink seven 3’s for 21 points for the Badgers.  Wisconsin (12-5, 4-1 Big Ten) has won three in a row while the Gophers had dropped two straight to fall to 10-7 on the season and 3-3 in the conference.  The Gophers are at No. 13 Illinois on Saturday.
