Bail has been reduced from half-a-million down to a quarter million dollars for an Isanti man charged in a 1993 cold-case murder in Minneapolis. 52-year-old Jerry Westrom’s attorney told the judge his client doesn’t have much more money and will “unequivocally” declare his innocence. Prosecutors allege Westrom stabbed 35-year-old Jeanie Childs several times in a Minneapolis apartment that the victim used for prostitution. D-N-A evidence gave investigators a break in the case.
