There were 130 murders in Minnesota last year, that’s up 58% from 2014.
And according to the latest numbers from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), violent crimes, including murder, rape, robbery and assault were up 7.6-percent from 2015. Each year, local law enforcement agencies statewide report their crime data, which is compiled to meet state and federal reporting requirements.
