The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has handed its investigation into the officer-involved shooting of Justine Damond over to the Hennepin County Attorney. Prosecutors will now review the case before County Attorney Mike Freeman decides whether charges will be brought against Officer Mohamed Noor. Neither the BCA, nor the County Attorneys’s office are commenting on the case at this time. Freeman said late last month that he would likely make up his mind about charges by the end of the year.
