If you got a drone in your Christmas stocking and have been trying it out, you might want to make sure you have insurance as the new year begins. State Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman says drones crash and inadvertently fly into things all the time, and owners are exposed to liability for injuries and property damage. Rothman says, check with your insurance agent on whether drones are covered in the policy. Drones must now also be registered with the F-A-A.
