Black Friday in St. Paul for Wild and Jets

(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild start a five game homestand Friday afternoon when the Winnipeg Jets come to town. Minnesota just wrapped a three game trip out east netting three of six points with a loss in Florida, a shootout loss in Tampa Bay and a shootout win in New Jersey on Wednesday night.

Joel Eriksson Ek scored his first career hattrick and overtime goal in the first meeting against the Jets last month

The Wild and Jets faced off in the Wild home opener last month as the Wild rallied from a 5-3 third period deficit to win in overtime. Joel Eriksson Ek had the hattrick and O-T winner in the victory. While the Wild have won seven of 11 overall the Jets have lost four in a row. The Wild and Jets face off at 2:30 P-M at Xcel Energy Center.
