The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning overnight tonight (Wed) into tomorrow for portions of Kittson, Marshall, Norman and Polk counties in northwest Minnesota, and for Cottonwood, Nobles and Jackson counties in southwest Minnesota. Other areas of western, northwest, southwest and south-central Minnesota are under winter weather advisories. Strong northwest winds are expected to cause white out conditions and extremely hazardous travel.
