BREAKING: Vikings Ink Diggs

(Eagan, MN)  —  The Minnesota Vikings have locked up another one of their stars as wide receiver Stefon Diggs has reportedly agreed to a contract extension.  ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting the deal to be worth a total value of $81 million that includes just over $40 million in guaranteed money.

Earlier this week at Vikings training camp Diggs mentioned that this is where he wants to be:

Diggs made 64 catches last season for 849 yards and eight touchdowns.  But the biggest play of his career to date was last season in the playoffs when he caught a 61 yard pass from Case Keenum in what’s been labled “The Minneapolis Miracle” and helped walk-off the New Orleans Saints to advance to the NFC title game.

Diggs said earlier this week at Vikings training camp that the play was magical but he’s trying to focus on this season:
