“Buffalo Strong”

February 16, 2021 By Tasha Redel

Allina Health is asking Minnesotans to join in solidarity with the victims of the Buffalo shooting and community today (Tuesday) to mark the one-week observance.   People throughout the state are asked to take a moment of silence at 11 a-m today, which was about the time of last Tuesday’s attack at the Buffalo Crossroads clinic that killed 37-year-old Lindsay Overbay of Maple Lake and wounded four others.  The surviving victims are Antonya Fransen-Pruden, Jen Gipson, Tammy Schauffler, and Sherry Curtis.  Folks are also encouraged to wear Buffalo “purple” clothing, display purple lights, and post “Buffalo Strong,” “Allina Strong,”   and “Health Care Strong” on social media.  Allianz Field in St. Paul and other landmarks will be lit purple tonight.
